Rabindra nritya natya is the term given to the three dance-dramas composed by Bengal's poet laureate Rabindranath Tagore: ''Chitrangada'', ''Chandalika'' and ''Shyama''. The principal characteristic of these works is that the story is told entirely through dance and song. The dances included in them were in the dance form created by Tagore (see Tagore dance). Tagore also included dance in earlier works such as ''Tasher Desh'' (The country of cards), though these are not regarded as ''Rabindra nritya natya''. Rabindranath Tagore dedicated this dance drama to the great leader Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The list of dance dama or nritya natya by Rabindranath tagore is as follows: 1. Shyama 2. Chitrangada 3. Chandalika 4. Kalmrigaya 5. Balmiki Prativa 6. Prakritir Protosodh 7. Mayar khela 8. Tasher Desh 9. Biday Abhshap and many more.Sometimes songs are selected from the vast range of Rabindrasangeet and then they are clubbed with the drama by Rabindranath Tagore and is performed as Nritay Natya. "Rakta Karabi","Natir puja","Raja","Arupratan", "Muktadhara" etc. drama has been often performed as Rabindra Nritya Natya. The dance forms used are mainly Bharatnatyam, Manipuri and Kathakali. But they have been beautifully adapted and have been given an entirely new outlook. The key point of Rabindra Nritya Natya is Expressive dancing. Facial expressions play a very vital role. The dancer should entirely emerge herself/himself into the character while maintaining the proper dancing style. Nowadays even sometimes Kathak and Kuchipudi dancing style have also been performed in Rabindra Nritya Natya. ==References== *http://www.tagoreweb.in/Render/ShowContentType.aspx?ct=Plays *http://geetabitan.blogspot.in/ *http://www.geetabitan.com/ * Santiniketan 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Rabindra Nritya Natya」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
